Finishing & Add-ons

Spot UV, also known as Spot Ultra Violet, is a specialized printing method for enhancing the gloss and raised surface of a printed object.
By embossing a paper surface, a raised image or design is created. By pushing a metal die into the substrate/paper from underneath, an embossed logo or text will be raised slightly off the surface.
A debossing process involves depressing or indenting an image on paper. Debossing creates a slight indentation in the substrate/paper by pushing a metal die into it from above.
Foiling is a process of adding a metallic touch to specific parts of your packaging artwork. It uses heat and pressure to apply a layer of foil film to your material.
An aqueous varnish, also known as aqueous coating, is a nature-friendly, fast-drying coating that includes water and protects printed materials.
Matte lamination provides a smoother & non-reflective surface. On the other hand, gloss provides a glossy & reflective surface on your custom boxes.
Soft touch lamination provides a premium finish to your packaging with a smooth velvety texture and non-reflective surface.
The varnish protects against scuffs and abrasions, but laminations also protect from moisture, chemicals, and harsh environments. A lamination protects the paper from cracks and creases, which is perfect for bags or boxes.

Box Material & Printing

The thickness of a paperboard depends on the size and weight of the product you want to package in custom boxes. Is there a thickness you would like to request? Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance.
With both sides being matte white, our whiteboard is a great choice when printing vibrant colors. The Kraft board, on the other hand, displays a natural brown tone on both sides, resulting in a more subdued color tone. However, your packaging will appear more organic and eco-friendly if you use the Kraft board.
Yes, we do. We use boards that contain 50% recyclable materials to manufacture your packaging.
The corrugation process refers to the process of manufacturing corrugated cardboard material. In the corrugation process, two layers of liner board and one layer of flute are glued together to construct a heavy-duty material known as corrugated cardboard.
Flutes refer to the material that is used in between layers of liner board to create corrugated material, also known as corrugation. They are the wavy lines in corrugated cardboard that provide rigidity to corrugated material.
Both our mailer boxes and shipping boxes are made of the same material and are exceptionally durable. A shipping box is a larger container that has the ability to store and transport several items at once. Also, they are great for bulky products. These boxes require packaging tape to be reinforced. A mailer box is smaller than a shipping box and more specialized. Typically, they are used to store a collection of small items or individual products. This type of packaging is ideal for gift-giving, eCommerce fulfillment, and displaying retail products.
Biodegradable packaging decomposes when exposed to sunlight and microorganisms such as bacteria. The decomposition process of biodegradable material takes a variable amount of time. In contrast, compostable packaging typically decomposes within 90 days under similar conditions.
Offset printing, alternatively referred to as lithography or lithographic printing, is a highly popular and extensively utilized printing process. It involves transferring an inked image from a plate onto a rubber blanket, which is then smoothly rolled onto the substrate, commonly paper. The method excels in producing vast quantities of prints while ensuring exceptional quality in terms of color vibrancy, sharpness, and precision.
Digital printing finds its primary application in small-scale printing endeavors, setting it apart from conventional printing techniques that depend on plates. Instead of plates, digital printers use toners and cartridges like home printers. It’s crucial to know that digital printers are restricted to CMYK colors and do not support Pantone colors. Moreover, though digital printing provides satisfactory quality, it may only partially match offset printers’ precision and color accuracy. For those facing budget limitations and seeking lower print volumes, digital printing stands as a cost-effective and viable option.
We primarily use single-wall corrugated material to construct your corrugated packaging. However, if you have any other requirements or want us to use double-wall material for your packaging, we would be happy to help!
